Widgets are small applications that add interactivity for the viewer in a website. Some examples are:

  • Tag Clouds
  • Category listings
  • Latest Blog Posts
  • Latest Twitter Feed

Normally a widget is placed in a sidebar, but you can use them anywhere. It’s nice to have custom sidebars and widgets for different pages.  For example : on the contact page, have related links in the sidebar, and a twitter feed, or facebook feed.

Sometimes when we’re doing a project, we hit an invisible brick wall and we’re in the same spot forever. For some people it’s actually starting up their business. For others it’s releasing their product.

We have the button, but we refuse to push go.

Why do we do that?

Because we haven’t really discovered exactly why we’re not pressing go.

Today, ask yourself why you’re not pressing go, and get to work.

All a business is; is a product or service. It’s having something that someone wants and trading them for something of value.

I’ve talked to so many people that say ” I really want to start a business but I want to do it the right way” . What is the right way?
The answer is that there is no right or wrong way.

You don’t have to have a store-front to have a business. You don’t have to have a business license (although you’ll eventually get a letter in the mail asking to please get one ) you won’t go to Jail because you haven’t paid taxes.

To have a business; ALL YOU NEED , is something someone wants.

Please comment or ask questions.

1. Saturday Cleanups:
Each Saturday, designate 30 minutes with the family to tidy. Give everyone a job or a goal and make it a family effort.
2. Focus on one room at a time: If you focus on just one room at a time, you’ll get more done. If something needs to go to another room, make a pile. Example: any coffee cups in the living room should be set aside until the end of the living room is cleaned. You save time and attention by focusing your efforts on smaller spaces at a time. Read more
